What We Believe
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, and the infallible rule of faith and conduct.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17)
We believe in one God, the Maker of all things, existing in the Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Matthew 28:19)
We believe that the Son of God, Jesus Christ, became incarnate, was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true Man.
(John 1:14)
We believe all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and are in need of salvation. Salvation has been provided through the shed blood of Jesus Christ for all people. By confessing our sins to God, we are forgiven and cleansed from all unrighteousness.
(Romans 3:23-24)
We believe it is the will of God that every believer be baptised with the Holy Spirit, as evidenced by speaking in tongues, and the demonstration of God’s power through the gifts of the Holy Spirit in ministry.
(Acts 1:8)
We believe in Divine healing, which is provided in the redemptive work of Christ and is available to every believer.
(Isaiah 53:5)
We believe in the resurrection of the dead—those who have fallen asleep in Christ will rise and, together with the living, will be caught up to meet the Lord at His coming. This is the imminent and blessed hope of the Church.
(1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
We believe there will be a final judgment where the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works.
(Revelation 20:12)
We believe in the imminent, personal, pre-millennial second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(Revelation 22:12)
We believe in water baptism and the observance of the Lord’s Supper.
(Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:24-25)
We believe in intensive world evangelism and missionary work in obedience to the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.
(Matthew 28:18-20)
We believe in the present-day operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as taught in the Scriptures.
(1 Corinthians 12:7-11)
We believe in the five-fold ministry of Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Teachers, and Evangelists, with the foundation of the Church being the ministry of Apostles and Prophets. These callings are authority gifts to the Church to edify and equip the saints for every good work.
(Ephesians 4:11-12)
We believe in casting out demons in obedience to the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.
(Mark 16:17)
